Our Story
Founded on faith, service, and vision in the heart of Busagazi
How It All Began
Busagazi Community Primary School was founded in 1993 by the Late Apostle Bugembe John Gumira, his wife Norah Bugembe, and a few committed members of the Busagazi Christian community.
Located in a remote area that was once an island, Apostle Bugembe led the effort to physically connect Busagazi to the mainland. Through tireless dedication, he and members of the church carried bags of soil to fill up the final stretch of water — creating a pedestrian and bicycle route that still serves the community today.
